The London Film Festival closes with the Fury premiere, while Daniel Radcliffe's Horns also premiered in Leicester Square. Set pictures from Lady in the Van and Dad's Army, as well as new trailers for What We Do in the Shadows, The Hunger Games 3 and Avengers 2...
The London Film Festival wrapped up this week with Brad Pitt leading a charge through Leicester Square for the red carpet premiere of his World War II tank thriller Fury, accompanied by his crewmates Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Michael Pena and Jon Bernthal, plus writer-director David Ayer. See the full set of photos here.
Also in London, Daniel Radcliffe and Juno Temple hit the red carpet for the premiere of their new horror-comedy thriller Horns, which opens in both America and Britain next week. See the pictures of Daniel & Juno here.
Meanwhile in the North of England, Toby Jones, Annette Crosbie, Alison Steadman and Julia Foster were photographed on the set of the film adaptation of the classic British sitcom Dad's Army. The film is shooting in Yorkshire, and costars Catherine Zeta-Jones, Bill Nighy and Michael Gambon. See the pictures from the set of Dad's Army here.
Back in London, Maggie Smith was caught on camera dressed like a hobo on the set of her movie The Lady in the Van. As the title suggests, she plays a transient woman living in a van who befriends a man (Jim Broadbent) who lets her park in his driveway. Based on a true story, the film is written by Alan Bennett and directed by Nicolas Hytner. View the photos of Dame Maggie here.
The big trailer this week was a proper preview of next month's anticipated sequel The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1. It offers a glimpse into the film's epic action-thriller scale, reuniting Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson, as well as Donald Sutherland, Julianne Moore, Woody Harrelson and Philip Seymour Hoffman. Watch the trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 here.
Kiwi comics Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement bring their quirky sense of humour to the big screen in What We Do in the Shadows, a hilarious-looking vampire comedy shot as a reality TV doc. It opens next month in the UK. Watch the hilarious trailer for What We Do In The Shadows here.
And finally, we had our first look at the sequel Avengers: Age of Ultron, which looks a lot darker and even more violent than the first film. There are glimpses of all the stars, including Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elisabeth Olsen and more. And all of it plays out to an eerie version of I Got No Strings from Pinnochio. We have to wait until next spring for the film to explain it all. Watch the trailer for Avengers: Age Of Ultron here.
