Kelly Ripa And Thomas Roberts Honoured At The 26th GLAAD Media Awards

Talkshow host Kelly Ripa and news anchor Thomas Roberts were among the names honoured during the 26th GLAAD Media Awards held in New York City on Saturday evening. The annual awards, which this year were hosted by television personality Ross Matthews, honour those in the media who produce fair, accurate, and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community.

Kelly RipaKelly Ripa received the prestigious Excellence in Media Award.

Opening the ceremony Matthews told the audience at the Waldorf Astoria, “If the world is a cafeteria, we're the closest we've ever been to sitting at the cool kids' table — screw that, we are the cool kids' table!"
