The 18-year-old sat down for her first television interview since she vanished from Rosie's New York home in August (15). She was found by police at the home of 26-year-old Steven Sheerer in New Jersey, and the mother-daughter relationship has been strained ever since.

Speaking to Inside Edition, in an interview which is due to air on Monday (02Nov15), Chelsea insisted she doesn't have a relationship with her famous adopted mother, and doesn't even love her.

"I care about her and I hope she's doing well. But love is a big word and I wouldn't really use that," she says. "Do you love Rosie?" the host asks Chelsea, and she simply responds, "No."

"I miss the rest of my family a lot but I think there is some much-needed space between me and Rosie," she adds. "It's been nice having that."

Rosie responded to her estranged adopted daughter's claims in the interview, writing a garbled message on Twitter.com stating, "She is quite beautiful my daughter - may u feel the live that has always eluded u chilly my p ... #asuwish (sic)".

The troubled teenager also talked about meeting her birth mother, Deanna Micoley, and moving in with her after leaving Rosie's home. Chelsea said in the interview that she only stayed for six days with Deanna, and then travelled to New Jersey to live with her boyfriend.
