TRANSFORMERS 3 had its European Premiere in Berlin last night, and new star Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looked stunning it an outfit that radiated classic Hollywood glamour, reported the Daily Mail. She wore a backless, studded floor-length dress, had a side-swept, waved hairdo and simple diamond earrings. She was joined on the red carpet by director Michael Bay and fellow stars Shia LaBeouf, John Malkovich, Patrick Dempsey, Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson. Huntington-Whiteley, a former Victoria's Secret model, revealed that she thought she had blown her audition for the movie: "I went in a bit blind and also, it was my first-ever audition. I went in completely not knowing what I was doing. I left feeling not confident."
Huntington Whiteley got the job after Megan Fox was fired, the New York Post reports, for comparing Michael Bay to Hitler in an interview with Wonderland magazine: "He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he's a nightmare to work for." Bay then told GQ magazine that executive producer Steven Spielberg demanded that Fox be fired for the comments. Fox was also disliked by the crew members on the film, with a group of them posting an open letter on Michael Bay's website claiming that Fox was 'dumb as a rock'. They went on to say: "She's as about ungracious a person as you can ever fathom. We work to make her look good, but she's never appreciative of anyone's hard work. All the crewmembers have stopped saying hi to Ms. Princess because she never says hello back." Huntington-Whiteley has similarly been picked from acting obscurity, and will be hoping she creates a better impression.
