Susan Sarandon would be out of touch with today's culture if it wasn't for her children.
The 69-year-old actress is just as busy with work as she was when she first broke onto the showbiz scene in the '70s, and looks just as fabulous. Despite still being in demand, Susan admits she's struggling to embrace modern ways, especially technology and TV shows.
“Definitely had to become a texter,” she smiled to Vanity Fair. “(My kids) were not answering the phone. I definitely text. Not so much e-mail, mostly texting.
“I think that’s why you have children, so they can keep you abreast to what’s going on culturally. Because look. You know, music and TV? I wouldn’t know about any of these things, because I don’t have a TV set. But I watch stuff with my youngest (son Miles, 23), especially. He’ll introduce me to Nathan for You. Stuff like that that I wouldn’t find.”

Rose Byrne would rather play the guy characters in the majority of scripts she reads.
The Australian funnywoman, 36, started her career as a serious actress, but when Hollywood started placing her in films like Bridesmaids and I Give It a Year, Rose carved a name for herself in comedy.
“Seth and Nick are really championing getting rid of those stereotypes,” Rose told New York Magazine of the roles on offer for women. “Most things I read, I still would much rather play the guy. There have been some changes, but I wish there was more.”

The star of HBO's television series Vinyl has explained that unlike his and girlfriend Rose Byrne's baby Rocco, whom he can kiss as much as he likes, his older son Jake Cannavale is at an age where he tends to reject displays of affection.
"He's got tattoos, he's got hair everywhere, he's literally the only guy on the planet that I'm dying to kiss me, and he won't kiss me," Bobby said during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Monday night (04Apr16).
Bobby also joked that Jake, his offspring from his marriage to screenwriter Jenny Lumet, doesn't have the same aroma as his new tot.

Bobby Cannavale feels as though he's holding a "fake ID" when it comes to his fame.
The 45-year-old actor is a regular in Hollywood thanks to his roles in films such as Ant-Man and TV shows including Vinyl. Despite his success, Bobby admits he still feels like he's blagging his way through his career, having grown up as a rebellious youngster in New Jersey.
"You know, I grew up with a bunch of factory workers," he recalled to Rolling Stone Australia. "It doesn't make any sense I'm here. When I stop to think about it, I think, 'Aw, something's gonna get figured out, and they're going to realise it's a fake ID.'
"Like, the worst that we did (when I was younger) was vandalism. A lot of throwing things through things and marking up things and knocking over the newspaper machine to get quarters so we can go to the arcade or buy beer."
