Actress Rosario Dawson claims Hollywood is deliberately employing an increasing number of Latin American performers to appeal to the growing number of Spanish-speakers living in America. The 26-year-old, who has starred in RENT and SIN CITY since she launched her career in the mid-1990s, insists this gradual shift is simply a money making exercise. She says, "Hollywood doesn't change. The only thing that drives it is money. "They are not doing any favours to Latinos like me. The only reason they've come looking is that the population of America is changing. "Latinos make up nearly half of the population in Los Angeles, where all these movies are financed. "Hollywood people look at that and think, 'We've got to change to make some money out of these people.'"
