Actress and film-maker Rosanna Arquette is making a documentary on the little known subject of the male menopause. The 47-year-old, whose movie credits include the pop documentary ALL WE ARE SAYING and Searching for Debra Winger, is currently starring in the sitcom WHAT ABOUT BRIAN? She explains, "Women are always the ones blamed for having the symptoms of menopause, when the fact is a lot of men go through menopause, too - it's called 'manopause' and comes about when men start losing testosterone. "It's the reason a lot of men want younger women - because they're insecure about their own ages." Arquette plans to concentrate on her film project as soon as she gets a break in her sitcom shooting schedule adding, "No one realises how much of your life an hour show like this takes up!"
