Friends and family of the late RONNIE BARKER celebrated the life of the comedy legend at London's Westminster Abbey today (03MAR06). Barker, who died in October (05) aged 76, was honoured by 2000 people who attended the memorial, including MONTY PYTHON star Michael Palin, Stephen Fry and Barker's former The Two Ronnies partner RONNIE CORBETT. Corbett said, "This is a truly monumental task for me, to encapsulate in a few minutes 40 years of working harmoniously with this dearest of men. "Forty years without an argument. Forty years of unmitigated pleasure, thrills and laughs."
