Fast & Furious 7 is definitely happening, and with more pimped out cars and never-ending airport runways lined up for a big screen return, the bosses behind the surprisingly long-running series are currently ironing out the details of a deal that will secure the services of a new addition to the cast. UFC Champion Ronda Rousey is currently in talks with the film's producers to secure her place on the film, with reports indicating that a deal has almost been struck.

Rousey plans on juggling her UFC career alongside her new movie career

Rousey told FOX 8 recently that she plans on juggling her new acting career hand-in-hand with her fighting career, admitting that she doesn't think that holding the two jobs will be particularly difficult. The MMA star, who already has a part in the Expendables 3 lined up, told FOX 8; "If I was going to have three jobs and train at the same time, then I can have one other job and train at the same time. Kind of like a different location, it's going to be kind of difficult. I can multi-task, I do it all the time."

The news that she is being lined-up to star in the follow-up to the surprisingly successful Fast and Furious 6 was initially reported by Variety, who also discussed how Rousey is planning on handling her extensive a workload. Apparently, Rousey plans to film scenes for both F&F7 and Expendables 3 back to back, training part-time whilst she records her part. She will kickstart a full training camp regime just after she has finished filming, in anticipation for her title defence match against Miesha Tate during UFC 168 in Las Vegas on 28 December.

No further plot details have been released in regards to Fast and Furious 7, although we do know that the film will be set in Las Vegas and is being produced again by Neal H. Moritz and Vin Diesel - who may be starring in the film too. F&F7 is slated for a 2015 release.
