Pop heartthrob Ronan Keating has been accused of snubbing his Irish fans, after suffering poor album sales in his homeland.
The former Boyzone hunk this week (ends12DEC03) announced details of his new tour next Autumn (04) - to support his recently-released album TURN IT ON.
The jaunt includes a gig in Northern Ireland capital Belfast, but none in the Republic.
Music industry sources claim Ronan is refusing to perform in Ireland, because Turn It On struggled to sell there.
But the move has upset some of Keating's most loyal fans.
An internet message board dedicated to the singer includes the following posting, "Thanks a lot Ronan. After ten years of support we don't even get a Dublin gig. I can't go to Belfast 'cos its seven hours on bus and I'd have no where to stay etc.
"I am not gonna take this lying down. Is he trying to gain more fans in Ireland or lose more?"12/12/2003 13:40
