Ronan Keating was devasated when his relationship with wife Yvonne ended, but Ronan takes full responsibility for the break-up. And it's no wonder - after all, the reason for the split was down to Ronan's extra marital affair that he had with dancer Francine Cornell. The affair lasted for a round two months and proved to be too much for Ronan and Yvonne's marriage to conquer. They have three children together; Jack, 13, Missy, 11 and Ali, 6.
"It's been a tough couple of years - I deserve what I got," the former Boyzone singer told Magic 105.4 in an interview. "We tried to get over it," he admitted, "but we couldn't and now I'm a single man again. It's been devastating for the children. We still spend as much time together as we can. It's all amicable but it's been hard. We obviously don't have the closeness we used to have. That's the hardest thing to bear."
The marital break-up doesn't seem to have had too much of an adverse effect on Ronan's career though; he's become a judge on the Australian version of X Factor, where he's joined by former Spice Girl Mel B and seems to be loving every minute of it. Speaking about his co-judge on the show, he said "She's good. She's exactly what you want on a panel - she gives it! She's great fun". He's also just starred in his first film; a romantic comedy entitled 'Goddess,' co-starring Lauren Michelle Kelly.
