Old is good in this week's (ends26SEP03) American singles chart - THE Rolling Stones have knocked Elvis Presley off the top spot.

The British rockers' 1968 classic SYMPATHY FOR THE DEVIL has debuted at Number one after being released off by the group's former label ABKCO RECORDS with a selection of remixes from hot-shot producers, The Neptunes, Fatboy Slim and FULL PHATT.

It replaces a song that is almost as old, a remixed version of Elvis' RUBBERNECKIN', which was originally released in 1969.

Amazingly, the Stones remix won out by selling just 10 extra copies - 8,610 to 8,600.
