Rolling Stones legend Keith Richards wrote a letter to former British prime minister Tony Blair while he was in power, backing the invasion of Iraq.
The rocker agreed with Blair's decision to join forces with the U.S. to topple Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein's regime in 2003, and penned the politician a letter of support.
And Richards insists he'd have happily joined armed forces in the country to help win the war.
He writes in his new book, Life, "I sent him a letter saying it was too late to pull out now baby, you had better stick to the guns. If I had spare time I'd go out there and give them a shot or two myself... I'd terrify them!"
It wasn't the only correspondence between the pair - Blair sent the guitarist a get well card after his 2006 fall from a tree.
