Rolling Stones rocker Ronnie Wood is set to plunge into a painting frenzy, as demand for his rock 'n' roll artwork spirals out of control.

Exclusive gallery Newbury Fine Arts in Boston, Massachusetts, who are holding a plush private view of the star's work, insist their clients can't get their wallets out quickly enough.

Director ELIZABETH NOVICK says, "Very serious buyers, who have no interest in his music, have started to collect his work and recognise him as a great artist.

"His originals go for hundreds of thousands of dollars and we can't keep up with the demand."
