Beloved Australian entertainer Rolf Harris will be awarded a BAFTA Fellowship in honour of his lengthy career later this year (12).
The 82-year-old star will be presented with the award at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (Bafta) TV Awards in London on 27 May (12).
The fellowship, which is awarded for "outstanding and exceptional contribution to television", recognises Harris' six-decade career as a singer, painter and TV presenter.
Bafta chairman Tim Corrie says, "Rolf Harris is one of the world's most iconic entertainers.
"He has huge audience appeal across multiple generations, and we are delighted to honour his contribution to television and the arts."
