Producers of The Tooth Fairy may feel as if they had just received a root canal after reading reviews of their movie. "Bland and unfunny," is the way Lou Lumenick describes it in the New York Post. Claudia Puig in USA Today says that the movie, which stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, "will make your teeth ache and your skin crawl." "No dollar under the pillow for this cavity," comments Roger Moore in the Orlando Sentinel. The film, of course, has to do with kids' imagination, and Wesley Morris in the Boston Globe employs his own in his review "You know what got "Tooth Fairy'' made the minute you see it Hey, how funny would it be to put Dwayne Johnson in ballerina slippers, pink tights, and a tutu? Not very. But here's the movie anyway, scarcely more than the pitch meeting that spawned it."
