SIR Roger Moore has hit out at fellow knighted actor SIR Ben Kingsley's insistence on being addressed by his full title at all times.

Kingsley, who was knighted in 2001, recently announced there is "no Mr Ben Kingsley anymore". He also chastised a German reporter for addressing him as "Mr Kingsley", and is demanding his impressive monicker is printed on movie publicity material

But Moore has branded this behaviour pretentious and pointless.

He says, "I think it's a load of pretentious b**locks. I don't see the point.

"Would it really add anything to have one's title included? I think it's the actor people want to see, not the knight."
