English actor SIR Roger Moore is reprising his most famous role as James Bond to help London bid to host the 2012 Olympics.

The suave star, 77, has broken his 19-year hiatus as superspy 007 to co-star with current Bond babe Samantha Bond, who plays Miss Moneypenny, outside the MI6 headquarters in Vauxhall, by the River Thames.

Moore and Bond join a host of London-born celebrities, including DAME Helen Mirren, Jeremy Irons, Martine McCutcheon and David Beckham, in the video, which aims to convince the INTERNATIONAL OLYMPIC COMMITTEE to choose the British capital for the 2012 games.

London is competing against Paris, France; Madrid, Spain; New York; and Moscow, Russia.
