SIR Roger Moore was awarded one of France's highest honours during a ceremony in Paris on Tuesday (28Oct08).
The former James Bond star was presented with the Order of Arts and Letters by French Culture Minister Christine Albanel, who praised the actor for his career achievements in Hollywood.
Albanel says, "France is happy and proud to honour a legendary actor with an immense heart."
Moore, 81, has enjoyed a career spanning over 40 years, and has served as a United Nations goodwill ambassador for children's organisation Unicef.
