Daltrey is adamant raunchy stars such as Rihanna are in danger of wrecking themselves in the pursuit of fame, and he has warned them to keep a grip on reality if they want to stay in the game.
He tells Britain's The Sunday Times Magazine, "We used to smash stuff up, but they're smashing themselves up. I feel sorry for them, because you see them struggling just to hang on to any sense of reality. Becoming famous is the weirdest thing in the world. Everyone treats you differently."
