Future Sued For $10 Million Over Contract

Rocko, real name Rodney Ramone Hill, Jr., claims he discovered the hip hop star and subsequently signed him to his A1 Recordings label in 2011, with the contract allegedly stating Future would record his first six albums with the company.

However Rocko claims that Future, real name Nayvadius Cash, didn't honour their agreement and made a side deal with Epic Records executives, who were distributing his albums, and earned himself millions in advances while allegedly leaving Rocko out of the picture.

Rocko is convinced he is owed 25 per cent in commission from those advances, plus 20 per cent from Future's other earnings, such as touring and endorsements, according to TMZ.com.

Gucci Mane Launches Film Debut From Jail

The Icy hitmaker is currently serving prison time for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and the sentence was extended by three years in September (14) after he pleaded guilty to aggravated assault following a separate attack on a fan at an Atlanta, Georgia nightclub in March, 2013.

But he isn't letting jail time wreck his film dreams - the rapper, real name Radric Davis, is moving forward with his various projects and recently set up a profile on networking site LinkedIn to promote the film The Spot Movie.

A message on the website reads, "This my tenth year in the industry and I am proud to be able to share my first movie ever that I executive produced and starred in on October 17th 2015.

Rapper Rocko Arrested For Suspended Licence

The U.O.E.N.O. hitmaker was reportedly caught racing a friend in his Rolls-Royce on an Atlanta, Georgia highway.

According to TMZ.com, local officers chased Rocko, real name Rodney Ramone Hill, Jr., down, while his unnamed friend attempted to drive away. He was later arrested for fleeing and eluding a peace officer.

Rocko escaped a speeding charge as he had slowed down when he was first spotted by cops, but the MC was booked after officers discovered he was driving on a suspended licence.

Rick Ross Clears Up Trayvon Lyric After Controversy: "We're All Trayvon Martin"

Rick Ross has felt compelled to clarify a line from one of his songs that addresses the fatal shooting of black teenager Trayvon Martin that occurred last year. On the 11th track of his latest album Mastermind, 'Black & White,' Ross raps, "Trayvon Martin, I'm never missing my target," which some have perceived to mean that he is comparing his success to George Zimmerman gunning down the Floridian teen.

After the lyrics sparked controversy, Ross, 38, issued a statement to Vibe. "It's so important that today, on the two-year anniversary of the death of Trayvon Martin, we never forget that tragedy," he said. "I'm never going to let the world forget that name. In my song Black and White off Mastermind I say, 'Trayvon Martin, I'm never missing my target.' There I'm reminding people that if you're a black person or a person of any colour for that matter in this country, you have to be accurate, whatever moves you make, stay accurate. Even when you're walking down the street, playing music from your car, you have to stay on point.

Justin Bieber partied until 5 a.m. at a nightclub in Miami, Florida on Tuesday morning (04.06.13).

The 19-year-old singer, who has an on/off relationship with Selena Gomez, was surrounded by a huge group of girls after arriving at Mansion nightclub for its Hot Excess Mondays hip-hop party at 3.45 a.m. with a huge entourage.

A source told People.com: ''Justin arrived at 3:45 a.m. with three SUVs of friends, including Young Money artist Lil Twist.

Bosses at sportswear firm Reebok have dumped rapper Rick Ross as a brand spokesman following the controversy surrounding his date-rape lyrics in Rocko's new song U.O.E.N.O. (You Ain't Even Know It).

The heavyweight hip-hop star sparked a storm of protest from women's rights groups with his ill-advised rap, in which he joked about putting Ecstasy in a girl's champagne.

Ross rhymed, "Put Molly all in the champagne. She ain't even know it. I took her home and I enjoy that. She ain't even know it."

Rocko Replacing Rick Ross' Lyrics In Controversial Rap

Rapper Rocko is replacing Rick Ross' controversial lyrics on his track U.O.E.N.O. (You Ain't Even Know It) and releasing a more radio-friendly version of the song.

Ross sparked outrage last month (Mar13) with his guest appearance on Rocko's track, which appeared to condone rape after referencing spiking a woman's drink with drugs and engaging in sexual activities without her knowledge.

The hip-hop star has since apologised for his words but Rocko has chosen to distance himself from the controversy by releasing an alternative version of the song with a new verse to replace Ross'.

Johnny Knoxville and his wife Naomi Nelson are expecting their second child.

The 'Jackass' star - who already has 15-year-old daughter Madison from his ex-wife Melanie Clapp - is "super happy" about the forthcoming baby, who will be a brother or sister to their first child, 16-month-old Rocko.

He wrote on Facebook: "my wife naomi and i are super happy to announce that we are having another little bambino in The Fall. my 15-year-old daughter madison is very excited about it, and her 16-month-old Little Brother rocko has, well, no clue. wahoo!!(sic)"

Monica Calls Off Engagement

R&B singer Monica has split from her fiance, rapper RODNEY 'Rocko' HILL, JR.

The stars had been dating on and off since The Boy Is Mine hitmaker was 19 and they became engaged over the Christmas holidays in 2007.

But the couple has since parted ways amid infidelity rumours levelled at the rapper.

Confirming the news on her Twitter.com blog, 29-year-old Monica writes, "Thank u everyone for all the love your (sic) sending. @Rocko4Real is a great father and we will continue to love and parent our children. The rest is a private matter between @Rocko4Real and I. He is a good person. Everyone makes mistakes... Even separated we will always be family."

Rapper Rocko Sentenced To Jail

U.S. rapper Rocko has been sentenced to 48 hours in jail after pleading no contest to allegations he assaulted a woman in 2007.
The star - real name Rodney Hill Jr. - entered a no contest plea to battery charges resulting from the altercation, in which he reportedly struck the woman.


The unnamed victim was left with injuries and contusions to her eyes and face, reports AllHipHop.com.


Hill, the fiance of R&B singer Monica, will also have to serve an unspecified amount of community service while under one year's probation.
