Robin Williams Is Set To Be Remembered By His Former Colleagues And Co-stars During A Week-long Film Retrospective In California.
The Mrs. Doubtfire star, who took his own life last year (14), is the subject of a special tribute by bosses at American Cinematheque which will feature seven days of screenings of his films at the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica.
The retrospective will also feature appearances by many of Williams' co-stars, including Amanda Plummer, who is set to reminisce on Thursday (09Jul15) about their time together at a screening of their 1991 film The Fisher King.
Actor Paul Dooley will attend a showing of 1980 musical comedy Popeye, while 100-year-old Norman Lloyd, who starred opposite Williams in Dead Poets Society, will be present to see his film close out the event on Sunday (12Jul15) as part of a double bill with Good Will Hunting.
The retrospective will also feature a screening of Williams' last film, Boulevard, on Saturday (11Jul15) with appearances from the movie's director Dito Montiel and actor Roberto Aguirre.
