The BARBARELLA remake is back on - a month after director Robert Rodriguez walked away from the sci-fi project over plans to shoot the film in Germany.
The Sin City director abandoned the movie because the father of five couldn't bear the thought of shooting the film in Europe, but the project has been saved by Legally Blonde moviemaker Robert Luketic.
Rodriguez had planned to make the action film with girlfriend Rose MCGowan as the iconic lead - originally played by Jane Fonda - but couldn't raise finance to make the movie in America.
Before quitting the film, Rodriguez told MTV News, "We had all this artwork and screen tests of what it would look like. It was a really cool, R-rated, sexy version of a Star Wars movie... It was gonna be really great."
There are no details about who will be cast in the remake.
