Robert Redford and T Bone Burnett will kick off Sundance London at the capital's O2 venue on April 26.
Robert Redford will launch Sundance London on April 26.
The event - a partnership between the legendary actor, Sundance Institute and AEG Europe - will begin with 'An Evening with Robert Redford and T Bone Burnett' at London's The O2.
The night will see the actor and musician discuss musical moments in their careers and the movies that have inspired them, with author Nick Hornby overseeing the chat while a special musical guest who has yet to be announced will also appear.
Robert said: "The depth of T Bone's experience and accomplishments in the worlds of both film and music set the stage for the Sundance London programme and the Celebration of music and film that's to come.
"His ability to deepen the experience of watching a film through the addition of music has seen him produce and curate some of cinema's most notable and commercially successful soundtracks."
Sundance London will take place from April 26 to 29 and feature UK premieres of movies from the world-famous Sundance Film Festival, which takes place in Utah in January.
Other public events, including live music performances, panels and discussions, will be held during the four-day festival.
Tickets go on sale on Monday (28.11.11) at Sundance-London.com.
