Robert Pattinson doesn't appear to be ready to face the world since revelations of Kristen Stewart's affair with Rupert Sanders emerged, but his people have gone and booked him for one of America's biggest shows anyway!
Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson appear to have ended their relationship and interest in the couple's split has reached fever pitch after the American actress issued a grovelling public apology to her British boyfriend last month. The actor has reportedly been hiding out at pal Reese Witherspoon's home in California, though he'll face the cameras on 'Good Morning America' next Wednesday August 15, 2012, according to US Weekly magazine. Pattinson will officially be on the show to promote his new movie Cosmopolis, though we can almost hear the show's production team frantically planning how to get the actor to refer to his current personal problems. It's likely that the actor's people will request that he not be asked about Kristen Stewart, though it would be foolish of the Good Morning America presenters to not at least try and get Pattinson to allude to the subject. Back in May, Stewart had nothing but praise for Pattinson's performance in David Cronenberg's movie, telling MTV News, "He's so good in it! He's really, really [good]. I don't even know how he [did it]. I couldn't even understand it. It's so good, it's so cool and I'm so proud of him".
The affair may not have affected Pattinson as much as first assumed - he was spotted sinking beers with his pals in a Californian bar this weekend!
