Robert Pattinson says he is ''ridiculously proud'' of his sister for trying out for 'The X Factor'.
The 'Rover' actor - whose older sibling, Lizzy Pattinson, recently made it through to the live auditions for the UK series after wowing this year's judges, Simon Cowell, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Mel B and Louis Walsh - thinks she is very brave for deciding to appear on the show, and admits he wouldn't have the guts to do it.
The 28-year-old star, who also sings, told Grazia Daily: ''I'm like, so ridiculously proud of her.''
He added: ''I would never have the balls to do that, ever, in a million years. I can't believe she's done it. So, it's amazing.''
The 31-year-old singer has provided backing vocals on songs for various 'Twilight' soundtracks and even had a top 20 hit in the UK in 2003 with club song 'Let the Sunshine In'.
But a source previously insisted Lizzy is wary of being associated with her world famous younger brother.
The insider said: ''She didn't mention she was related to him to any judges or producers. It's important to her she does not fall into the trap of just becoming 'Rob's sister'.''
Earlier this year, it was revealed that Robert is recording his own album.
Directed by Wes Ball, this second chapter in the sci-fi action saga is based on The Scorch Trials.
