BREAKING DAWN Part 1, the highly anticipated new movie in the 'Twilight' franchise, is set to feature the wedding of Edward and Bella, played by Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. A new 15-second promo clip of the nuptials hit the web yesterday (2nd June 2011), reports MTV News.
The new clip gave fans their first glimpse of the 'wedding scene', which diehard fans of the series have been speculating on for months. The short video sees Bella walking down the aisle in the middle of the forest while Edwards waits at the altar. The clip gives nothing away with regard to Bella's dress, but she does wear a tiara, while Edward dons a traditional black suit. A longer clip of the wedding will premiere during Saturday's MTV Movie Awards (4th June 2011) which is set to be hosted by Saturday Night Live star Jason Sudeikis. 'Breaking Dawn: Part 1' hits cinemas on 18th November 2011, with 'Part 2' tentatively scheduled for release on 16th November 2012. The movies represent the final two instalments of the vampire saga series, based on the novel's by Stephenie Meyer.
The Twilight films, starring Stewart, Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, have grossed over $1.7 billion worldwide. The second instalment, 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' broke box-office records for the biggest midnight screening and opening day in history, grossing an estimated $72.7 million.
