Actors Robert Downey, JR. and Nicolas Cage were among the big winners at the Spike TV Scream Awards on Saturday night (15Oct11).
The Iron Man star danced onto the stage at the ceremony at Universal Studios in Universal City, California to pick up the Hero Award from Colin Farrell, embracing him in a hug as he addressed the star-studded crowd.
Other winners on the night included Cage, who was presented with the Maverick Award by director Quentin Tarantino, and Natalie Portman, who picked up Best Fantasy Actress for her role in Black Swan.
Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe won the male equivalent at the awards, which applaud the best in fantasy, sci-fi, comics and horror, while Bradley Cooper collected the Best Thriller trophy for his film Limitless.
Best Fantasy Movie went to X-Men: First Class, Best Director was awarded to Darren Aronofsky for Black Swan, and Game of Thrones was hailed Best TV Show.
