Robert Downey Jr. has been named Hollywood's highest paid actor.
The 48-year-old actor earned $75 million between June 2012 and 2013 after starring in six movies which have each grossed more than $500 million at the worldwide box office over the past year.
'Iron Man 3' and action movie 'The Avengers' - both of which saw Robert play the lead superhero, billionaire playboy Tony Stark - each took more than $1 billion.
Forbes magazine reported: ''As long as he's willing to keep putting on the Iron Man suit, Downey will remain one of Hollywood's highest-paid actors.''
Robert who starred alongside A-listers including Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L Jackson, Chris Hemsworth and Jeremy Renner in 'The Avengers' - which is now the third highest-grossing film of all time - was paid more than his co-stars and was given a percentage of the box office profits.
He will also be paid handsomely for 'The Avengers' sequel which will start filming next February.
The first 'Iron Man' film was released in 2008 and earned $585 million worldwide, with the franchise bringing in nearly $2.5 billion to date.
