LATEST: Robert De Niro is not looking to sell his stake in celebrity sushi chain Nobu, restaurant bosses have confirmed. The actor teamed up with famed chef NOBUYUKI MATSUHISA to open sixteen locations of the posh eatery in cities such as South Beach, Florida, Malibu, California, Tokyo, Japan and Las Vegas, Nevada, and the company is now seeking to expand even further. However, Matsuhisa denies The Deer Hunter star is tempted to cash out his share of the business while profits are soaring, insisting, "Bob is one of us and will remain one of us." Managing Partner RICHIE NOTAR adds, "It's just rumours that have got out of hand - we were looking to fortify the company with capital and it was suggested we sell the brand but we decided not to take that advice. "The trouble is, someone reported it as fact and everybody picked up on it. Bob is one of us and we are not selling." Nobu chiefs confirmed De Niro would be on hand to open a Hong Kong branch of the restaurant in November (06).
