Actor Robert De Niro has travelled to the Dominican Republic to meet the president, and carry out research for his new movie about the CIA, which he will direct and star in.
De Niro toured the capital Santo Domingo, where he enjoyed a private meeting with PRESIDENT LEONEL FERNANDEZ and filed permits required to shoot THE GOOD SHEPHERD in the Caribbean nation - which will double for Central America and Cuba.
De Niro will play JAMES WILSON one of the founders of the CIA. Matt Damon will play Wilson as a younger man and ANGELINA JOLIE stars as Wilson's wife. Shooting will begin in December (05).24/07/2005 09:25
