Movie legend Robert De Niro amazed onlookers when he was spotted "striding purposefully" around the British Government's Treasury building in London.
The 61-year-old actor-turned-director was exploring Westminster - the English capital's political heart - in a bid to find the perfect site for his upcoming movie THE GOOD SHEPHERD.
An insider says, "It emerged he was being given a private tour, in order to use the location for a new film he will be making in Britain."
A spokesman from De Niro's production company, TRIBECA, says, "It was to do with The Good Shepherd, a film about the history of the CIA which Mr De Niro will be directing, but I can't tell you any more."31/05/2005 13:57
