Pop star Robbie Williams has quit smoking so he can get fit for a charity soccer match. The heart-throb has smoked 60 cigarettes a day since he was teenager, but is desperate to impress at the Soccer Aid match on Saturday when a team of English footballers and celebrities take on a Rest of the World team run by soccer star-turned chef Gordon Ramsay. Williams' England team mate, actor Bradley Walsh, reveals, "He's taking this very, very seriously and will do anything to win. We are calling him 'no cigs Robbie'." The singer has previously refused to quit the habit for fear he would put on weight. He once said, "The thing is, I'm a fat bloke inside this body and the minute I stop smoking, I'll get even bigger."
