Singers Malik and Tomlinson faced a storm of controversy last month (May14) after a video leaked online showing them in Peru smoking a suspicious-looking cigarette and discussing illegal substances.
The Angels singer, who battled drink and drug demons after quitting British boyband Take That for a solo career, has now spoken out to warn the young stars to keep their partying away from fans.
He tells Britain's Sunday Mirror newspaper, "I think they should stop getting caught! Drop a shoulder, give them a dummy, but just don't get caught. I didn't get caught until I was at least 22 - maybe 23!"
