The pair previously teamed up on 2000 track kids, which became a big hit.

Robbie has now confessed he has a new song which would be perfect for Kylie, and he is hoping she agrees to duet.

"The Kylie duet might not come off and that would be very embarrassing now that I've said too much already," he tells Australian publication the Sydney Daily Telegraph.

"Maybe I used up that token of the duet thing. I've got this great tune that's incredibly camp and I would love her to sing on it with me. Maybe she will, maybe she won't, watch this space."

Robbie hopes the song will feature on his next solo album. It is reportedly due for release next year (16).

The record will be a follow-up to 2014's Under the Radar Volume 1.

Recent reports suggested Robbie could be set to put his solo career on hold to go back to his former band Take That.

He first left the British boyband in 1995 and launched a successful solo career.

He rejoined them for their 2010 album Progress and subsequent tour in 2011, before leaving again.

However, Robbie is rumoured to have been approached to take part in celebrations for the group's 25th anniversary in 2016.
