Robbie Williams wants David to win 'Big Brother'.

The 35-year-old musician is a huge fan of the reality TV show, and is so desperate for the camp clothes sorter to triumph he has even voted for him.

Robbie said: "I'm not really bothered about who wins it now but I did vote for David last night (03.09.09), I just want to give him a hug and tell him it's OK. He makes me laugh, he's funny."

Robbie is devastated the Channel 4 reality programme has been cancelled, and has asked people to tune in to the final series next year in the hope the broadcaster will reverse their decision.

He said: "I've been watching it, I've been watching it and loving it. It's been very, very rewarding this series. And I have to say to the general populous - you've got it wrong.

"I know you've fallen out of love with it but next year, give it a go. Hopefully it will be a good series and it won't go away.

"I watched the first two series, then stopped watching it for some reason. And then this year I had a few friends round the flat and they went, 'Right, let's all watch this, to the end because it'll be all that anyone's talking about and we'll have something to natter about, or Twitter, or whatever it is the young kids do these days.'

"And me and the girlfriend are the only ones who have watched every single one."
