The 22 year old opened up about his battle with the condition, which affects sufferers' attention span, to support a campaign by Britain's The Sun newspaper find a talented young columnist.
Stephens reveals writing helped ease his symptoms, telling the publication, "There's nothing more therapeutic than writing. Getting thoughts down on paper just makes you feel better. Even if what you type seems like nonsense, it is coming from somewhere inside you and getting that down can make you feel stronger.
"I have Adhd, which is something I have struggled with because it means I get distracted really easily. But if I put my head down and write, it makes me feel focused and powerful."
