Cara Delevingne - said: ''To me, I have my friends who I've known my whole life, and I can count them on one hand. They're people I went to school with, my mum's friends' daughters. You know?
''Everyone else I meet from that point on, if they happen to become a friend, that's incredible - come and join the family - but if not.... With Hollywood friends, everybody knows the deal. It's like signing up to a dating website.''
While the 23-year-old star - who is dating DJ Calvin Harris - often feels lonely on the road without the support of her close-knit family, she could never envisage quitting the industry.
Rita told the new UK issue of GQ magazine: ''Of course, I get lonely and I get sad, but I made a decision to do this ... I'm in an amazing position to change my life, and change my family's life.''
