The former Girls Aloud singer was not happy to hear the dreaded ‘c-word’ during the recent London auditions.
New ‘X-Factor’ judge Nick Grimshaw may have gotten on wrong side of colleague Cheryl Fernandez-Versini already, when he called the singer by her former married name of Cheryl Cole. The slip up occurred during the London round of auditions for the talent show which took place at Wembley earlier this week.
Nick Grimshaw mistakenly called Cheryl by her former married name.
According to fans in attendance Grimshaw referred to the Geordie singer as Cheryl Cole when asking for her opinion after an audition. Cheryl is said to have snapped back, 'It's Cheryl or Chezza!’
The new X Factor judge is rumoured to be doing very well as the funny guy on the panel
If The X Factor knows how to do one thing, it’s how to make headlines and those headlines are rarely about its contestants. When Simon Cowell revealed 2015’s judging line-up, which included himself, stalwart Cheryl, singer Rita Ora and radio DJ Nick Grimshaw, the panel found itself in the limelight and for all the wrong reasons.
Nick Grimshaw is being touted as Simon's new David Walliams on The X Factor
However, the Radio Times has reported that Cowell’s ambitious judging decision has paid off, particularly with his ‘new David Walliams’ - Nick Grimshaw.

The singer has finally spoken out about her much publicised departure from the BBC talent show.
Former judge on ‘The Voice’ and the newest member of the ‘X-Factor’ panel, Rita Ora, has revealed why she jumped ship from the BBC talent show to its ITV rival. But Ora’s reasoning isn't as interesting as we might have hoped. Speaking at the O2 Silver Clef Awards, Ora blamed scheduling for her decision to switch shows, saying it all had nothing to do with her former colleagues on ‘The Voice’.
Rita Ora is the ‘X-Factor’s’ newest judge.
"It's nothing to do with any of the coaches personally. I love them all. But it's definitely something to fit in with my timetable and my schedule,” Ora said, while picking up the Vevo Best Female prize at the awards on Friday.
She announced in June that she was leaving 'The Voice' to join the ITV reality singing contest instead, but has spoken about her decision for the first time today.
New judge on ‘The X Factor’ Rita Ora has revealed that she couldn’t say no to Simon Cowell’s offer once she had heard about the organisers’ new plans for the reality TV show, and that it was this that was the primary factor in her decision to leave ‘The Voice’.
The 24 year old hitmaker spoke to Lorraine Kelly on the British morning chat show ‘Lorraine’ about her high-profile network switch from the BBC to ITV, saying that she just wanted “to be a part of it” when she heard about the new ideas.

“If her time on ‘The Voice’ is anything to go by, she will be hopeless at telling the truth, congratulate everyone no matter how poorly they perform and fail to get a single act through to the final,” the acid-tongued Hopkins wrote in her regular column in The Sun on Friday (June 19th).

After all the hype, it's impossible not to expect steam from this adaptation of E.L. James' mommy-porn bestseller, but the average episode of Red Shoe Diaries is friskier than this movie. Still, it's a well written and played drama, building an unusual romance with a series of scenes that are sometimes sexy but never actually transgressive. And the nicest surprise is that in the hands of director Sam Taylor-Johnson it becomes a witty tale of female empowerment.
It's set in the American Northwest, where Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) is finishing her studies as an English literature major when she's asked by her journalist roommate Kate (Eloise Mumford) to interview Seattle's most eligible bachelor, billionaire Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan). Ana's awkwardly confident approach immediately gets under his skin, and he pursues her as if she's a corporate acquisition, complete with non-disclosure agreements and a contract that would make her submissive to his dominant. But she isn't so sure about all of this, and as she falls for him, she begins to make him break his own rules. Of course he thinks she should be punished for that.
Essentially, this film is mere foreplay, as the push and pull between Ana and Christian cycles through various set-pieces on the way to an ending that is clearly designed to get fans in a lather for films based on the second and third novels in the trilogy. And the studio would be wise to keep Taylor-Johnson and screenwriter Kelly Marcel (Saving Mr Banks, another story of male-female control) on board, as they have clearly beefed up James' novel with a strong dose of wry humour, bringing out the deeper themes rather than focussing on the under-developed plot and characters.

When reserved college girl Anastasia Steele meets mysterious businessman Christian Grey for an interview, she ends up feeling rather foolish, fearing that she's messed up the opportunity. Mr. Grey doesn't see it that way however; on the contrary, he develops a strong romantic fixation with her. Nonetheless, he is an enigmatic presence in her life that she cannot hope to resist, and she soon finds herself treading deeper and deeper into this man's life. As their relationship progresses, he reveals his unusual sexual desires which involves Anastasia signing a written document in order to give him permission to do whatever he likes with her. And the winner of the most dedicated method actor award goes to... Jake Gyllenhaal!
Jake Gyllenhaal is a shape shifter. There is no other explanation. We barely recognised him whilst he was filming 'Nightcrawler', with his sunken cheeks and generally gaunt demeanour, but now he's transformed yet again into a sinewy muscle-man for his forthcoming boxing drama 'Southpaw'.
Gyllenhaal looks completely different to usual
He's never exactly been a typecast actor, but it seems Jake Gyllenhaal can literally perform in any role. He can be unnerving ('Donnie Darko'), not to mention dedicated ('Brokeback Mountain') and now it seems he can manipulate his body in a matter of months. He lost thirty pounds to play the creepy, morally corrupt crime journalist Lou Bloom in Dan Gilroy's latest movie 'Nightcrawler', and now he's picked up his calorie intake and bulked up immensely to play a middle weight boxer in Antoine Fuqua's 'Southpaw'. We only wish we had that much self-discipline!

It makes absolute logical sense for any company to want to be affiliated with the biggest events in the world, which the football World Cup unarguably is. But what to do when your biggest rival is a corporate partner of said tournament? In this case, the answer is a compilation record.
Whilst a couple of months may already have elapsed since the World Cup ended, this does afford us the ability to review this album using a host of clichés and tournament-inspired analogies. Santigold's 'Kicking Down Doors' signals the start of play with a pounding dub beat on a track that fails to take off. The arrival of a collaboration between Rita Ora and Calvin Harris - 'I Will Never Let You Down' - is like Spain making an appearance, but the resulting club number is as disappointing as the showing from the former champions. The decision to allow Janelle Monae to give Bowie's 'Heroes' an urban makeover gets a red card, but Don Omar adds the correct sort of bite to proceedings with a carnival-enthused 'Pura Vida'.
The second half begins with a substitution to the likeable quirky pop of 'Crescendo' by Jetta, before Kelly Rowland takes centre stage. Unfortunately, 'The Game' is a tuneless effort that falls well beneath the high standard of the output she has previously been involved with and leaves us needing a hero as we enter the latter stages of play. It would be too much now for the result of the album to be saved, but like a late consolation, it doesn't mean you can't put positives into the outcome. It isn't forthcoming though, with the remainder playing out a drab affair lacking impact and passion. Likening this to the England team's performance seems too obvious, but given the lack of expectation in the first instance, is actually quite appropriate.

Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora come together in the new single 'Black Widow', to bring us a song about a failed relationship that causes the titular black widow personality to come out and avenge said relationship. But is this pairing a match made in heaven, or will it go on to stain these artists' careers?
Australian rapper Iggy Azalea and British singer Rita Ora both adopt different accents (and vocal pitch, in Azalea's case) in their career, so it makes sense that these two 'acts' are combining for what amounts to little more than an imitation performance of soulless hip-hop and pop music. Incidentally, the accompanying music video is an upsettingly awkward rip-off of 'Kill Bill', even down to Michael Madson's unfortunate inclusion.
The hook is sung by Rita Ora and, thankfully, plays out as the most bearable part of the whole track. Her voice introduces real heart into the otherwise desolate wasteland of this single - supposedly where creativity went to die. However, despite her voice, the hook is totally forgettable. Written by Stargate (Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Storleer Eriksen), Benjamin Levin, Katy Perry, Sarah Hudson and Azalea, the lyrics are repetitious and the beat sounds bleak and empty.

Iggy Azalea is the latest artist to suffer a mishap at a VMA-related performance
While the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) are clearly prestigious and a desirable addition to any artists’ award collection, it would seem that they are also more than a little hazardous - as Australian rapper Iggy Azalea found out on Friday (22 August) night. The Fancy hit-maker was performing a pre-MTV VMAs concert with Charlie XCX at the Avalon Theatre in Hollywood when she backed right off stage.

Iggy and Rita play a couple of cleavage-rocking fantasy assassins, who are apparently on a mission to kill Rita’s boyfriend and Iggy’s annoying customer at her diner job – that’s the same person, by the way.
If there's one thing Iggy knows how to do, it's rock a skin-tight outfit, like the one in the video.

Due to holding the rights to 'I Will Never Let You Down,' Harris allegedly blocked Ora from performing at Sunday's TCA ceremony.
Talk about holding a grudge! Rita Ora disappointed her fans when she did not perform her hit track "I Will Never Let You Down' at this past Sunday's (Aug 9th) Teen Choice Awards, even though she was expected to.
Ora cancelled her Teen Choice Award performance at the very last minute
When news broke that the British singer wouldn't be taking the stage at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, it was never explained why. But now Ora has finally given a reason for her absence, revealing that it was all down to her ex-boyfriend, Scottish DJ Calvin Harris.
Which singers have tried their hand at acting recently?
It seems if you can sing, you should be able to act with a whole host of super singers putting down their microphones and picking up a script instead. Justin Timberlake has made one of the most impressive transferences from stage to screen with exciting supporting roles in hits including The Social Network and the Coen brothers' Inside Llewyn Davis and taking the lead role opposite Mila Kunis in Friends With Benefits.
Beyoncé successfully combined both singing and acting in the musical drama, Dreamgirls, and also tried her hand at pure acting in everyone's favourite detective film, The Pink Panther and in American thriller, Obsessed.
Of course, there are some popstars that are unlikely to ever find themselves in Oscar contention, such as Justin Bieber following his role in two episodes of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation back in 2010, and Joss Stone's slightly more substantial TV role as Anne of Cleves in The Tudors. But which serious fan of The Spice Girls didn't love their whirlwind musical comedy Spice World? And who didn't enjoy Britney Spears' turn in the girls on tour comedy Crossroads?
Anastasia Steele is a shy college student who is forced to interview an enigmatic entrepreneur named Christian Grey. Their first meeting doesn't go as well as planned and subsequently she is shocked when it appears that he has a seemingly romantic interest in her. He's not the sort to go out on drunken nights or make any of the usual romantic gestures, but Anastasia remains captivated by the intense sense of mystery surrounding him. Some of that mystery is unveiled, however, when he reveals his sexual desires to her, but it seems even then his wishes are not of the usual kind. Christian asks Anastasia to sign a document in order for them to be intimate, and that coupled with the rope and tape he recently purchased starts to make her realise just what sort of sensual adventure she's about to experience.

When young college student Anastasia Steele meets a mysterious wealthy businessman named Christian Grey, she had no idea she'd be embarking on the sexual adventure of her lifetime. While he makes it clear that he's not the type for wild nights of drunken laughs or even for a bunch of flowers and chocolates, Ana can't help but feel irresistably intrigued by the beguiling sense of unknown surrounding her new obsession. Soon though, all is revealed when Christian insists she sign a document before they enter into any kind of intimacy, and putting that together with the bunch of rope and masking tape she saw him purchase at the hardware store, she starts to realise that she's about to enter into a relationship that is more out of the ordinary than she could ever have possibly imagined.
