British comic Rik Mayall is demonstrating his patriotism by releasing an unofficial anthem to boost support for England's soccer team in the upcoming World Cup.
The Young Ones funnyman is preparing to unleash his first musical outing, entitled Noble England, on 23 April (10) - the day commemorating England's patron saint, St. George.
Mayall will perform the track under the guise of 13th Century King of England, Henry V and hopes to rally support for the English team as they compete in the international soccer competition, which kicks off in South Africa in June (10).
He tells Sky news, "Football, Shakespeare and Rik Mayall. Those are the three greatest cultural things that England has."
