In an interview with Grazia magazine, Rihanna 's dad, Ronald Fenty has revealed that he thinks she and Chris Brown make a "perfect couple." His opinions come despite the fact that Chris was convicted of assaulting his daughter Rihanna in 2009. "Chris has matured a lot. I think everybody has to put the past behind them. And they seem to have done that. Being a couple is all up to her," Fenty told the magazine (reported by the Huffington Post).
In the last few months, Rihanna and Chris Brown appear to have begun to reconcile their differences and have been spotted out together a few times. Her dad adds that he certainly wouldn't be looking to stand in the way of the couple getting reunited, if that was what they wished to do. "Every decision is her decision. I just wish her the best. I hope things will work out. Everyone is entitled to make a mistake. Her fans are hoping it will happen. They see them as a perfect couple."
Rihanna's thoughts most probably aren't with Chris at the moment, however, as she recently learned of the death of her Grandma Dolly. Dolly passed away on Sunday (July 1, 2012) and Rihanna tweeted a number of pictures of herself and her grandma on Instagram and Twitter, for her followers to see. This morning, she tweeted a picture of herself, about to leave London on a private jet, so that she could fly home to see her family.
