R&B star Rihanna has been granted a permanent restraining order against a man accused of breaking into her Los Angeles home in September (13).
Jonathan Whooper faces felony charges for attempted burglary, vandalism and stalking after he was identified as the suspect who threw a chair through a glass door at the singer's Pacific Palisades mansion.
He reportedly made several unwanted visits to Rihanna's house before he was confronted by security guards and arrested last month (Oct13).
Whooper, who claimed to be the Diamonds hitmaker's "future husband", was subsequently ordered to stay away from the star, and now the temporary ban has been extended for the next two years, reports Tmz.com.
Meanwhile, the suspect is set to undergo a mental evaluation to determine if he is fit to stand trial.
Rihanna, who is currently on tour, has since moved out of her troubled California pad and is preparing to relocate to New York, where reports suggest she hopes to settle down in a new Soho penthouse in Manhattan for $39,000 (£26,000) a month.
