Websites that publish photos allegedly showing Rihanna in the nude are violating her rights as an artist, her record company has reportedly claimed.
According to TMZ.com, Def Jam Music Group has contacted at least one website asking it to remove "unauthorised photos purported to be... Rihanna".
TZM.com says the record label's statement does not confirm or deny that the photos, which appeared on the internet last night, are genuine.
Seven leaked photos reportedly show the Umbrella singer, 21, in a series of raunchy poses but her face is clearly visible in only two; in which she is fully-clothed.
In one apparently taken by Rihanna - real name Robyn Fenty - herself, a message on the mirror appears to read: "I love you, Robyn. I miss you."
Another appears to show ex-boyfriend Chris Brown with a pair of pink knickers on his head.
Brown and Rihanna split up after he was charged with assault causing great bodily injury and making criminal threats following an alleged attack on the singer in a parked car before this year's Grammys. Brown, 20, denies the charges.
