Rihanna said she is growing tired with the media's infatuation with her love-life, during an interview to promote her new movie Battleships. The Barbadian star sent the gossip world into overdrive earlier this week when she was snapped leaving Ashton Kutcher's Los Angeles pad at 4am.
However, speaking to the UK's Itn, Rihanna hinted at the Ashton-talk when she was asked whether her high profile gets in the way of her love-life, saying, "It really is a pain. A lot of the time you want to hang out or have friendships with people. If they're famous and I'm single it's an automatic 'they're on, they're dating.I hate that. I don't even want to date. I'm single. I just want to have friends. That's a hard pill for people to swallow I guess". The singer has been linked to a string of men since her well-publicized split from Chris Brown, but the R&B star has always maintained she wants to remain single. Her comments come just 24hrs after she told a UK reporter he had asked her a "disappointing" question when she was quizzed on whether Ashton would be visiting her in the UK.
The story reached fever pitch when a source close to Demi Moore told Closer magazine that the actress was "sick to the stomach" after seeing images of Rihanna leaving her ex-husband's home.
