Adam has worked with Rihanna for two years after being introduced to her by his stylist boyfriend, Mel Ottenberg, but the designer has now decided to branch out with a ready-to-wear line for the general public.
The designer will unveil his first collection, for spring/summer 2014, at New York Fashion Week and he has high hopes that the clothes will be stocked by Net-A-Porter and Barney's New York.
WWD describes the collection as being heavily inspired by swimwear, but ''wearable''.
Adam said of his new range: ''[It's] sexy. It's that fantasy woman but it's also sporty.''
