What's up with Rihanna? The popstar was seen breaking down in tears as she performed at her concert in Dublin last night (June 21st 2016), after arriving at the venue half an hour late. Fans sang along with her and spurred her own as her voice cracked and tears spilled down her face during 'Love The Way The You Lie'.

As of yet, it's not clear what got the Barbadian beauty so upset as she attempted to sing her Eminem collaboration 'Love The Way The You Lie Part II' at Ireland's Aviva Stadium as part of her ANTI World Tour. It's true that it's a particularly emotional song about domestic violence; something that she experienced in the public eye when she was just 20-years-old; but the song was released in 2010 and it's odd for her to still get emotional while singing it for the thousandth time in her career.

Perhaps the 28-year-old was feeling guilty about turning up 30 minutes late, and was overcome with emotion at the forgiveness and love of her fans despite this. Whatever the reason, she clearly needed a moment to compose herself as she attempted the opening verse of 'Love The Way You Lie', raising her hands in surrender to her emotions. But her Irish fans merely screamed words of encouragement and sang along with her.

'I only have ever in my life heard an audience of people scream so loud that they sound like one voice and that only happens in Ireland, in Dublin. Thank you so much', she told the crowd during her 80 minute set.

Rihanna hasn't revealed just what it was that was getting her upset, though she did admit on Instagram later that it was an 'emotional show'. 'What a night!!!! Such an emotional show for me! I feel so lucky to have a team like the #Navy man! I'm blessed!! No matter what I'm on you always snatch me out of it! I'm so grateful to have y'all!' She said.

And the evening wasn't such a downer for Rihanna either because she also got to meet MMA superstar Conor McGregor backstage. 'So much heart! Thanks for your kind words!' She said of the meet.
