Rihanna, Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber sang, whilst models like Toni Garrn and Alessandro Ambrosio strutted their stuff: that's right, it was the glitz and glamous of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show at the Lexington Armory in New York. A bedazzling event, the show was split into six sections, each with their own titles; Circus, complete with acrobats, contortionists and a sword eater; Dangerous Liaisons; Pink Is Us; Silver Screen Angels; Angels in Bloom; and Calendar Girls, which turned out to be the rather odd spectacle of Mars serenading a model for each month of the year.
Props seemed to be the order of the day for the supermodels; Adriana Lima had a ringmaster wand, Doutzen Kroes had a body cage, Miranda Kerr wore a swan-style feathered pouf and Lily Aldridge donned a pair of star-spangled wings - a good time to do them with the high of election fever not yet abating.

Doutzen Kroes was another who opted to wear an outfit with props
Wearing one of the most extravagant outfits of the night was supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio whose jewelled bra alone cost $2.5 million. Sure it looks glamorous, but we can't imagine it's all that comfortable? The event has become something of a pre-Christmas tradition in America, with CBS there to film it and turn it into a one hour television special. This year it airs on December 4.
