British comic Ricky Gervais claims his family are unimpressed by his fame and success and just think he is a ''little fat t**t''.
Ricky Gervais' family think he is a "little fat t**t".
The British funnyman - who has been with girlfriend Jane Fallon since 1982 - insists his loved ones are not impressed by his success and refuse to treat him any differently.
He said: "They don't think I'm a film star. They don't think I'm an actor. They don't think I'm anything. They just think I'm the little fat t**t that I always was."
Although the comic claims his family think he is fat, the former 'Office' star recently embarked on a health kick and admits he made the choice to shift the flab because he was worried his weight would kill him.
Ricky - who has appeared in several Hollywood films - explained: "I don't want to blow it. I don't want to go, 'Oh f**k! You idiot. So now, everything's great. And you're going to die at the age of 51 of a heart attack, you fat idiot.' "
The 49-year-old star has previously blasted fat people for making excuses about their weight problems.
He said: "Well, it's their fault they're fat. They ate too much. Those are the rules. I got fat because I ate too much. I knew why I was getting fat. I didn't think I had a tumour up my backside. I thought it was because I ate cheese and pizza every f***ing night. I knew what I was doing. So there's no point going round feeling sorry for them."
