The TV talk show host and her professional partner Derek Hough made it through last night's (15.11.11) semi-final and will contest for the end-of-season trophy against Rob Kardashian and Cheryl Burke and J.R. Marinez and Karina Smirnoff and the 43-year-old star thinks it is a "miracle" she has gone the distance in the competition.
She said: "I'm sort of in shock. It's sort of a miracle that I'm still here. I'm really working hard. I'm really proud of myself.
"I'm really happy with the way things have gone so far."
Ricki also admitted she doubts anyone who claims to have tipped her to win from the start of the competition because she was such an outsider with bookmakers.
She explained: "I was never the frontrunner. I know everybody will say, 'Oh, I picked her.' No they didn't. My odds were 10 to 1. I know because I checked it out on [bet-placing website] Bodog.com."
The TV personality believes people doubted her abilities because she "didn't look like a dancer" when she began training.
Speaking of her departed rivals, she told People: "You'll get Chynna Phillips and Kristin Cavallari and these athletes like Hope [Solo] - their bodies look like dancers. I didn't look like a dancer from the start."
While she may have been an outsider, Ricki is giving it all she can to ensure she is in with a chance of taking the crown.
She said: "Everything is off the calendar this week for me to focus on the dances. I think Derek has a lot of stuff up his sleeve."
