Counted roughly 100 water beetles, 50 dragonflies, 150 frogs, 50 newts, 200 unidentified swimming objects, but not a bloody duck in sight !
I've re-written the duck sign by the pond to help them understand. It now reads "Quack, quack-quack, quack-quack-quack. Quackquackquackquack
I've put a sign by the pond saying "Ducks Welcome". So far one frog stopped hopping by to look at it and a pigeon swooped and pooped on it
As we love ducks, we built a much bigger pond for visiting ducks that have come each year to visit & guess what ? They've not come this year

Had a salad for my birthday dinner. All part of my new concerted weight loss plan. Considering salad again today...and tomorrow...and Sunday

vegetarian food was great last night at the Mill. I ate loads. Luckily there were no after effects on stage.
I had the most wonderful night at The Mill in Sonning for the wonderful moon bears with friends Peter Egan & the magnificent Triple Cream
